As an experienced commercial director, Clowater boasts an impressive portfolio working with global consumer giants like Skittles, President’s Choice, Pizza Hut, Heineken, Volkswagen, IKEA, Subway, Pringles, Kohler, and Samsung, with his work often shortlisted at Cannes Lions. His short film, “Four Eyes,” had a special screening at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC as part of an exhibition on children’s comedy. Michael also recently directed, wrote, and produced his first feature film, which recently wrapped production. Drive Back Home is a period road trip set in Eastern Canada starring Alan Cumming and Charlie Creed-Miles. The film is currently shortlisted for Sundance.
