Carvalho came to filmmaking through her passion for the image when she began her career as a successful still photographer. Her consistent drive to capture indelible images led her to cinematography, and her growing affinity for character and story saw her seamless transition into directing. At the root of her work is the belief that commercials require more than just imaginative visuals–they require honesty, heart, and a deep passion for storytelling.
